Well…he is B’boy’s twin brother…and teen movies have taught us all how gals go…er ah…gaga over angst-ridden badboys…and he does have sooo much history with the V squad…
@JC Well, good point about the angst, except there isn’t much about Hod that needs to be fixed.
I think the Valkyries like him because they think he has to base his feelings on real emotions, not eye candy. This appeals to women even though we like being appreciated for our looks at the same time.
GO HOD!! Yay, that’s my boy!!! I see Loki’s brain churning… he’s either figured it out or WILL… but Hod is sure not going to have anything to fear where he is. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable in O-E’s fort-within-fort, esp. since I didn’t know he built it… but neither Thor nor Balder is what you’d call bright candles… *grin* That eyeball is up to something. (ohwhotasurprise…)
Blindness is the victor this day.
I am sure that Hod wouldn’t have been left behind if he could see.
Then he wouldn’t have had the chance to enconter the fine valkyries.
The look on Hod’s face says it all. He’s picturing Hel in his mind, the way he saw her when he was briefly in her realm, and enjoying the attention from the Valkyries.
I’m pretty sure Hod’s figured it all out by now, as has Loki. Balder… maybe, maybe not. Hermod might have, but his brain doesn’t move super-fast like his body does. Thor could have, but he Just Doesn’t Care!
Oh, just one minor gripe this whole arc: where’s Sif been hiding?
Balder’s twin and Odin the All-Father’s son?
PLUS the mysterious dark entity thing going on?
And then there’s the poetry. Of course the girls dig Hod.
Balder could learn a thing or two from his brother.
Thor! Don’t eat the roast beast- it’s- its’- I can’t tell him. He’s enjoying it too much, and is too adorable.
Is it wrong that this comic had made me wonder what goat meat actually tastes like?
*sigh*
I like bee barf. I like escargot, oysters on the half shell (which are alive when you eat them,) think chicken giblets and hearts are delicious, and I suspect I’d like goat meat if I could find it.
That wasn’t the protest.
Does no one else feel a twinge that Thor’s family is feeding him his pets?
Hm. On the other hand, If I had a kid who ate like Thor, I’d probably look for ways to cut costs too.
Hod is going to be a real pimp when he grows up. xD

At first I thought ‘huh? a cardboard box?’, but anyways, yea he is certainly clever on that front.

Lovely page, guys!! Thanks!
Holy cow, I finally made it through all the backlog and up to current! Great job so far, and yay for Hod!

It is obviously a…Boy’s Night Out…some kinda bonding thing…between Back-Up-Dad and sons…and Thor’s sooo trusting that not caring is a moot point.

Was a time Goat was considered ‘good eating’. We’ve so gotten spoiled since then.
pssst, anyone wanna tell Sobolan where Mozzarella came from?
It isn’t from Italy? O.o?
Or honey for that matter…

Am I the only one to remember the first time food was offered to our heroes by O-E ?
I happen to like the “chew some more” sound effect…
