#363 – Jr. Pantheon Games: Breaking The News
Previously… Odin left. Just got up and took off without really saying where he went. He appeared by be afflicted by the deadly wanderlusting.
Currently… He got better. Turns out he was at a business conference. No wanderlust for Odin. At least, not yet.

NOTE: Seth and I will be at the Chicago Comic Con (formerly known as Wizard World Chicago) at table 3712. All readers of Brat-halla are more than welcome to stop by and chat with us… we’ll even have Mjollnir Thor t-shirts along with one of our newest t-shirt designs, the "And you thought your kids were monsters?" Loki t-shirt (with Hel, Fenrir, and Jormungandr).

No wanderlust for Odin? I’m …suspicious…wander is just one of his infamous…lusts…while I’m sure he did attend a conference with Zeus…he was gone a loonng time and must have been doing …well…er…some lustwandering…on his own…or more likely…in “friendly” competition with Zeus…yeah…that’s my story…and I’m stickin’ to it…
Zeus, you sneaky bastard. Just so that nobody can steal Aph or Hermes’ thunder, eh?
I’m sure Loki’s going to have a field day with all those godlings he can pull pranks on; can’t wait to see the story unfold.
heh, I wonder who the other kids in the other pantheons are?
For the Greeks/Romans (the Romans really did simply adopt the greek gods), I guess Apollo and Artemis could be in. Although I think Apollo was shown as an adult during the pantheon games.
Cupid, that twelve year old from Nazareth, one of the Fates, possibly a Phoenix (it’s really a timing issue), Hercules, the entire Hindu pantheon (also a timing issue), a Pharoh…
I guess you can please everyone sometimes
(love the photo of thor on the wall in the last panel)
I also stuck Tyr in there too. I miss Tyr.
Incidentally, that panel of Tyr is my first panel from my first Brat-halla. There ya go, trivia fans!
So the only ones left to compete in the regular Pantheon Games are Odin, Frigg, Tyr, Heimdall, and Hel? Interesting idea there, Zeus. I’m curious as to who the kids are going to compete against, besides the Chinese pantheon that Hod is so friendly with. (Perhaps one of the Native American pantheons is undergoing a rebirth? Or maybe… DUN DUN DUUNNNN… the long-awaited Vanir!) (By the way, are you counting Sigyn, Loki’s third wife, as one of the Aesir, or one of the Vanir?)
And that “12 year old from Nazareth” was shown in the “deleted scenes” to be an adult, so he doesn’t count!
Why do you think he was in the deleted scenes? Maybe this has been the plan all along. You and your time space theories…if the Earth was created in seven days are we all not just infants?
I’m curious to find out what you have planned for the Vanir–especially my favorite naughty goddess, Freya. So how is she going to get command of the Valkyries and half the slain from Valhalla? Win them in a poker game?
Keep up with the good work!
I’d say that went rather well!
The last frame reminded me of this:
