Ok, at the risk of sounding like a giant suck-up, I wanted to say a simple “Thank you”, for doing this week in, week out.

Getting ready for work this morning I found myself thinking, “Hey cool, Wednesday — new Brat-halla today”, and realized just how easy it is to take something like this for granted. Look at the tweets, blogs and other stuff around here and it’s pretty clearly not the case that Jeff and the gang have nothing else to do with their time than sit around crafting the next installment, but that is precisely what they have delivered without fail for YEARS now (hel, the current story arc alone is around 5 months old and growing…)

There’s plenty of appreciation every week for particular details of individual strips (I love the luminous colouring of the blue stone BTW, great job), but I just wanted to give a nod to the collective effort required to crank out 381 weeks of these puppies. Sure, this is your chosen (current) profession and, let’s be honest, life would still go on if the strip weren’t here, but I (and many others) would miss the little mid-week pick-me-up it provides.

So, thanks again for all the intelligence, humour and hard work it takes to deliver this every week.
