This is a new extra Seth and I are adding to the site for fun. It’s experimental in that Seth simply draws something… anything at all (a short, a splash page, a cover… whatever) as long as it includes a character that has appeared in Brat-halla, and I add dialogue to it. They’re unscripted and random… just whatever Seth feels like drawing for fun at the time. Seth will also be experimenting with different mediums with these (this one was done with colored markers), so there should be some interesting pages showing up in this section.
Enjoy!
I likies, I wouldn’t mind the rest of the comic looking like this.
and
….O.o I’m first?? woooow
That’s definitely a neat look! Aww, cute Thor goodness….
The thing that cracks me up, and would probably annoy the daylights out of Odineye… is that he sounds just like Odin. Because he’s… you know… part of him. *snicker*
Does Odin even realize that his sacrificed eye has taken on an individual identity? He’s supposedly all-knowing now… Frigg too, but, well… she drinks a lot. *grin* Must go back and re-read the Dad’s Trip With Brats arc… though Odin was pretty plastered through most of that too…
This looks like a prehistoric comic. (Pre Calvin and Hobbes. That was the begining of comic history.) Other than that, it’s rather funny, as I guess would be usual… hmm…
If there’s one interesting thing about this comic (other than the story, characters, and mythology,) it’s that you guys keep changing styles.
Marvel style, this style, batman style, that style, etc…
But you at least haven’t done Bill Amend.
Heh. Great start for Unscripted. I think I prefer the regular coloring, but if it gets me an extra day of Brathalla per week, who am I to BMG?
Dialogue really fits the panels
OK, this counts as an odd random thought.
Given that removed body parts of deities seem to retain independent life, mobility, and the ability to think, does that mean that Thing from “The Addams Family” is Tyr’s hand?
intesting thing to verify… they could arrange an evening meal to discuss it out… (*subliminal message sent*
)
I just keep on wondering how a eye, which wanders about, can have a line on it like an eyebrow. I know it makes for emotions, but if the eyebrow followed along…would it not have it’s own personality?
Hmmm – you have sufficient suspension of disbelief to go for a walking, talking eyeBALL, but falter at the accompanying eyeBROW?
Personally, my issue was with multiple optic nerves(?) to be used as arms and legs by same…
I am always pleased by a new additon to the weekly delights! Thanks, Seth and Jeff!
@Mark Sebree – Well, Odineye did have the advantage of gaining sentience by soaking up the magical waters of the Well of Wisdom for a number of years. I don’t think Tyr’s hand would do the same sitting in Fenrir’s stomach.
@Elyena and mcubedb – The magical water also mutated him to give him multiple optic nerve tentacles and a floating eyebrow. Heck, no one’s asked how he can talk without a mouth yet.
why can he …. ok that’s crap.
