The darkness doesn’t die easily… it just takes a new form.

I’m almost caught up with things after my illness (still a little sick but doing much better), and I’m planning on spending a couple hours this weekend responding to comments.

this hidden cave makes me think of a little one named “Dexter”…
Well, now I know what was in the big bag Hod (controlled by Pookah) brought in while the Brats were away.
Cool, a library. Waiiiit… Hod can read?
Hod is blind. Braille books? But Loki seems to be reading one. Ah, well. Love the comic! Thank you!
Annnd enter the Loki saga. *chuckle*
well the trickster is getting caught in another trap….
I’d say that, since it was a black magic book, it’d be able to make itself read in any way the reader could understand it.
Yay..! Another no-prize for me!
@Matt and Sean – Who was having Hod build this library? He had working eyes, right?
@Ithil – Nope, no Loki saga… just yet. Next, we begin our “Backup Dad” storyline.
@Colin W. – Yep, and this one could have (eventually) have an unpleasant outcome.
@Anthony Lee – But… that would mean it was created by some malevolent force with the intention of corrupting people’s souls. Hmm…
Intruiging.
Waaiitt…Loki getting…corrupted?…How could that be possib…yeahhh…I see…speaking of which…I’m sure Hodikins being able to “access” magic tomes would have something to do with “special instruction” he had from his time as a transfer student…
Awww durn. I like the Loki saga. *waits patiently* Though I’m sure this “Backup Dad” will be as awesome as all your stuff is. Which is to say epicly awesome.
I don’t think I want to know what ‘butt nausia’ is…
But you promised Frey and Freya!…../mope
I want my “Norse gone Wild,” dangit.
Kveðja!
Having waded through the entire archive over the course of a couple of weeks, as my time permitted, I must say….OMFG I LOVE THIS WEB COMIC!!!!!!!
As a genuine Norseman (Ethnically and Spiritually) I am most amused and entertained by your take as to how the Aesir would have been as children, you are most likely dead on!. Hod’s dry humor and Thor’s overbearing exuberance especially. You have also most certainly captured the Allurfaðir’s taste for women and other vices and the Odineye is just awesome as a villain. (some few of us wondered how his eye felt about the situation) and the terrible Fenrir as a “Rockstar”???
Bölvaður Brilliant!!!!!!!!
Keep it coming gentleman, I wait with the impatience of a Berserkr for each new installment.
You shine with the brilliance of Baldur at the end of Ragnarok and your place of honor in Asgard is assured, I am certain.
þakkir.
p.s.
I agree with Wynni…I would love to see the Vanir added into the mix. Freyr and Freya? The ensuing competition and chaos would provide eons of material. The riff between Frigg and Freya over the Allurfaðir’s affection alone could go for years.
This wouldn’t be the last time Thor loses that hammer… and you wouldn’t believe what he’d have to do to get it back that time!
It’s kind of a funny story, anyone who knows that should tell it here (or I could)…
