Reminds me of when one of my sons decided to “spice” the Father’s Day stew by adding a section of (wooden) Brio type train track…that had belonged to me…thirty years before…and had spent the last twenty under my parents family room sofa…hiding with several generations of pookah like kittens…spontaneous shuddering
@Wolf Gunnison – Hi there, don’t know what you specifically mean by shading, but the coloring’s the same style I’ve used these past 100 or so episodes (though I did green up Frigg’s face for effect).
Of course, if you haven’t noticed before, then I’m doing my job properly!
If you mean something in the art, then we can put that down to Seth’s already awesome artwork getting better with every strip!
Now that I look back I see that.
Odd, though, because I noticed the shading on Balder and Loki’s faces in the first frame. I’m not sure what’s different, but usally a random noticing means something is.
Or my mind is just not working right again. I’ve been having some trouble with it.
I noticed before but have yet to comment on it…and I don’t know that much about the actual mythology, but why is Baldur seem older(and taller) than Hod if they are “twins?” He seems more of a teenager like Loki, and not little boys like Hermod, Hod, and Thor. Just curious if there was a reason.

@J c Rouille – Hah. That’s funny and frightening at the same time.
Shading?
Have you guys done shading before?
For some reason I don’t recall it.
Hmm. Looks very nice in any case.
The green shading is also nice.

*chuckle* They probably should have called in Sif for that one. Or anyone besides Thor.
Thor ask Sif for help? That’ll be the day. (when he grows up)
On the other hand, virtually any one of the other “kids”, especially Hod and Loki as the most mature, should have already called Sif for help.

You’re missing the fundamental problem: when does a GUY ever ask for help?
C’mon, you really think the Hebrews wandered the deserts for forty years for fun? XP
and yes, I’m teasing, but there’s a grain of truth there where young guys are concerned….and you know it.

@ Wynni. you’re right, they should have called Sif. Girls are designed to be cook. xD
