Apparently, Odineye knows how to work the system.
NOTE: Sorry for the black-and-white art… the color version will be up later today.

Verily, ’tis the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, Roy Roger’s rifle, and Freddie Kruger’s glove! What an awesome store! Nice work, guys!
That’s one way to insure you get decent customer service XD
In keeping with the dangerous item/weapons theme going on here… is that the holy hand grenade of antioch?!?!
Not the mention the chainsaw: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or Army of Darkness? Hmm.
Gotta give Odineye this: he can at least maintain himself as a credible villain.
@Bobbo and Nate – Yep, that is the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. In fact, every one of those is a weapon from a movie… when I get the color version up, I’ll probably have a small contest to see who can guess all 10 of them first (or who can guess the most before next Wednesday).
Well, of the ones that are not mentioned, I recognize the “throwing star” from “Krull”. And, of course, the bullwhip from the Indiana Jones movies.
The object from Krull would be the Glaive, and I believe I see the sword from FAKK2.
I think I once owned the big honkin’ knife under the crossbow at one time. From Cobra with Sylvester Stallone?
—Sarge
Hahaha.
All the famous weapons of all time, collected by…
Wait. How’d he get all them?
Heh.
Wonderfuly comic today, guys.
Well, kind of hard to make them out in the uncolored version.
Also, the glove with claws, isn’t that from one of those horror movies? I saw it on a character that was suppoused to be from one of those horror movies in a Robot Chicken episode. I forget the name of the guy and no idea what movie.
@Solnoid: Which one? Theres actually two, one is right under the crossbow and the other is under the rifle which is also partially under the crossbow.
nm, Bobbo already said what it was up top.
What movie is the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch from?
smjjames,
The Holy Hand Grenade of Anitoch is from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”.
Solnoid: Thanks. I could not remember what the blasted thing was called, even though I remember what it did. (nasty weapon in the right hands.)
Mark S.
Do I get to play? Oh wait, I helped throw out suggestions. The sword did appear in FAKK2, however the first appearance is the original Heavy Metal movie. Damn, I’m old.
Would that be Navar’s crossbow, from Lady Hawke?
Just some notes/hints… that gun isn’t Roy Roger’s. Solnoid was right about the knife being from the movie Cobra (the Night Slasher’s knife).
The sword on the far left is far too big to see much of the detail about it but the fact that it’s a big sword (but not big like the Buster Sword) should help with guessing.
For the chainsaw, I’ll accept Ash or Leatherface as the owner of it (which have both been guessed).
The glove is definitely from a horror movie (parodied on a Robot Chicken episode as smjjames mentioned).
@Wynni – Nope, it’s not Navar’s crossbow, but you’re in the right era (the 80s)… you just have to go back before Willow… before Krull… before Conan… even before Dragonslayer.
Wait…is that a Red Rider BB Gun?
Also, the glove is from Nightmare on Elm Street.
I think the chainsaw belongs to JJason Voorhies, mainly because of it’s proximity to Freddys Glove. In the case of the shotgun I’m torn between Ash’s boom stick from army of darkness, and Arnie’s weapon in Terminator 2, I’ll go for the former because I love ash’s “this is my boom stick” speech. Mind you, the whip could be from the great tyrant (from Barberella, yes I’m old.. moving on :-)) which could mean all the weapons are from villains.
As always, love this comic!
Addendum, just realized that the holy hand grenade blows the “all villain weapons” out of the water. Hangs head in shame, retreats into shadows..
“2, I’ll go for the former because I love ash’s “this is my boom stick” speech. Mind you, the whip could be from the great tyrant (from Barberella, yes I’m old.. moving on :-)) which could mean all the weapons are from villains.”
uh, Krull wasn’t the villian, he was the hero of the movie, the throwing star was his weapon.
The huge sword looks like it could be Conan’s sword.
As for the crossbow, I thought maybe it could be Van Helsings (the vampire hunter guy)?
is the big sword from highlander? “there can be only one!”
@smjjames: Krull was actually the name of the world where the Glaive was located. The prince of one of the kingdoms was getting married to a princess from another world when the main Villain, The Beast, broke things up.

So that is the famous Red Rider “you’ll shoot your eye out” BB gun from “A Christmas Story”; definitely not a villain’s weapon.
It’s barely a weapon.
@Wolf Gunnison – The Red Ryder BB Gun? It’s a deadly weapon if you’re all eyeball.
Conan’s sword
Van Helsinges(sp) crossbow
Ash’s Shotgun
Leatherface”s chainsaw
Knife used by main bad guy from Cobra
Freddie’s glove
Indy’s whip
Orcish sword (LotR)
Glaive from Krull
Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch
So how close did I get?
Freddy Kruger’s Glove
Krull Glaive
The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch
The Night Slasher’s knife from Cobra
Generic Chainsaw, considering the character I’d have to say it’s supposed to be Leatherface’s.
The FAKK2/Heavy Metal Sword
Indiana Jones Whip
If it’s supposed to be the Red Rider BB Gun, it’s been altered to be more Brat-halla styled.
I’m not sure on the Crossbow and Sword though. But I think I reckognize the crossbow.
Ash’s chainsaw,
HOly handgrenade
knife from Cobra
Red Rider Gun
crossbow from Hawk the Slayer
Heman’s sword?
Glaive from Krull
Indiana’s whip
Freddie’s knife glove
Orc sword?
I stand corrected, the spiked hilt sword IS from Heavy metal.
Ah, the Famous RR BB gun… haven’t seen it since I last played Wasteland!
