Previously – The Scotsman and Odin hatched a sinister plan to force the Norse godlings into training.
Currently – I’m not sure if that plan’s working out so well, but you know what they say… "Experience is the best teacher." Still… some of these experiences, I think they could do without.
Ok, this being a better place to ask… what exactly is going on with those two… smiley faces? … that Sif seems to have instead of a left arm in panel 1?
Those are Sif’s “Thor slippers”. She took ‘em off coz they were getting all muddy.
How is the swirl wedgie of doom t-shirt art coming? I was looking forward to it — and the chance to buy a couple of extras as Christmas Presents.
Thanks.
Hey Stephen – It’s my priority over my Thanksgiving vacation. I reduced it down to 1 panel to go onto a t-shirt and then ran into problems with the test print for it (artwork prints fine, but the resized balloons to hold the bigger lettering are shifting during printing for some reason). I’m hoping to finally get that fixed tonight after work… at the latest, I’ll have it ready by Friday.
Interesting that Hod has not noticed that his “room” is a lot breezier than normal, or that the sound has a different resonance, or that he can feel the sun. He is usually the most on the ball for such environmental changes. But then, I am not at my best when I first wake up either.
Except he’s not just waking up… he’s still sleeping (or at least, trying to). He’s one of those “Late to bed, late to rise and perfect for the night shift” kinda people.
So am I, when I am allowed to be.
Bahahaha! I guess Baldr is the most beutiful turd i have ever seen in my life XD
I want to say that I am consistently impressed by the quality of this series, kudos folks!
Thanks, John!
Cheers, John!
Hermod probably used his superspeed to get back home and Thor is probably fighting stuff.
Seems like Loki is in on the whole thing. Not too surprising since he is technically an adult with an age somewhere around Odins, but he ate a cursed pie or something way back in the early pages of the comic, well its when he mentioned it anyway.
We’ll find out what happened to Hermod next episode. As for Thor, he’s building up suspense by…
That reminds me… Can Loki remember his “past life”? It seems like he can because he’;s so crafty, but that might just be second nature to him. Please answer back!
I agree. That poor, poor bear!
And Heimdall, the only person I know of to have been beaten in a contest of strength by a bunny.
In Heimdall’s case, it’s actually a battle of will that he’s lost to a bunny. This only makes sense if you know the backstory, so I’ll share. Years ago Jeff was training for special ops in the US Air Force. Part of his training was in survival and how to evade enemy capture. During one session, he found himself actively hiding in a bush w/ a bunny. He was very, very hungry. The bunny even sniffed his hand. If he killed the bunny, he would have alerted his pursuers. Starve and remain quiet or kill and be captured? Finally, the pursuers approached the bush and the bunny slowly crawled out of hiding. The bunny fled at their sight. Convinced that no one could actively hide in a bush w/ a bunny, they left Jeff to his ravenous hunger. It haunts him.
There’s a little inaccuracy with that story, but the basic tale is true. I did engage in a battle of wills with a rabbit. To this day, I still get hungry when I see rabbits… Easter is a particularly tough season to deal with.
Poor Hod. I used to feel the same way after night shift. I didn’t usually wake up in the outdoors though.
And Balder? Wow. I’d still be whimpering too.
So, if Balder was cleaned up after this, would that be classified as “polishing a turd”?
Poor, poor bear!
*dies*
Somebody give the bear some Charmin….
And that’s one mighty rabbit…
